In the Effect Controls panel:

  • Glow groups Glow size, Glow intensity.
  • Ghosts groups Ghosts, Ghost spacing, Ghost size, Ghost intensity.
  • Streak groups Streak length, Streak intensity, Streak angle.
  • Matte is an input to an effect, scaling the strength. Invert inverts the mattes for calculating strength.
  • Light x and Light y: where the light is positioned.
  • Intensity: the gain on the lens flare.
  • Tint: the colour of the flare.
  • Mix: how much of the result replaces the original.
  • Matte and Invert drive the strength of the effect from another layer’s brightness; see Effects.

The Glow group:

  • Glow size: its radius, in pixels.
  • Glow intensity: its gain.

The Ghosts group:

  • Ghosts: how many discs march along the axis.
  • Ghost spacing: how far apart they sit.
  • Ghost size: their base radius.
  • Ghost intensity: their gain.

The Streak group:

  • Streak length: how far it reaches from the light.
  • Streak intensity: its gain.
  • Streak angle: direction it runs in.
