Points sample
Points sample is a Drivers effect.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”Wire a producer’s Points socket into this driver and returns two numbers: Count, how many points in this frame, and Nearest distance, how far the closest one is from a place you choose.
It cannot read the points of Scatter, Emit from image or Text to points, nor those of a Vary points or Pick points that reads a picture. A Bake points below such an effect makes its points readable. It can read Track points.
