Checkerboard
Checkerboard is a Generate effect.
What it does
Section titled “What it does”Draws a board of two colours, with a corner of four cells on Centre. The edges of the cells are smoothed over one pixel.

What each control does
Section titled “What each control does”- Cell width and Cell height: the size of each cell.
- Rotation: turns the board.
- Centre: where a corner of four cells sits.
- Colour 1 and Colour 2: the two colours.
- Paint: Inside layer paints only where the layer draws, and Whole frame fills the whole of the layer’s picture.
- Mix: how much of the result replaces the original.
- Matte and Invert drive the strength of the effect from another layer’s brightness; see Effects.
