Split channels

Last updated

Split channels is a Compositing effect.

Split channels takes the picture on its Input socket and hands out each channel on a socket of its own: Red, Green, Blue and Alpha. Each is an opaque greyscale picture of that channel, read before the colour is multiplied by the alpha. It is a box in a node graph composition and is not offered on a layer’s stack. Wire the four back into Combine channels to get the picture back.
